Tilly - Founder of Swimsity
Tilly is a Level 2 certified swim teacher with over five years of experience working with swimmers of all ages and abilities. She brings a calm, friendly, and supportive approach to every lesson, helping swimmers feel comfortable and at ease in the water.
She understands that swimming lessons, especially at school, can sometimes be stressful or even traumatic, which is why her teaching style is gentle, patient, and always tailored to the individual. Lessons are taken at a pace that feels right for each swimmer, with confidence and safety at the heart of everything she does.
With a background in competitive swimming, Tilly has a strong foundation in the water and a clear understanding of technique. She specialises in working with adult beginners and those returning to swimming after time away.
Her aim is to create a positive and encouraging environment where swimmers can build trust in the water, grow in confidence, and enjoy learning to swim.
Lucia - Teacher
Lucia has over 10 years of experience as a swim teacher and holds a Level 2 qualification. She has worked with a diverse range of ages and abilities, from 6-month-old babies to 78-year-olds as well as everyone in between. Her goal is to help swimmers build confidence and skills in the water, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
With lifelong passion for swimming, Lucia finds joy in sharing her love for the water with others. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in encouragement, patience, and reassurance, creating a supportive environment where everyone can learn at their own pace. Thanks to her guidance, hundreds of her students have gained a vital life skill and the confidence to enjoy all the benefits of swimming.
Vivian - Social Media Lead
Vivian is an intermediate swimmer, avid traveller, and self-described finance girlie who started her Swimsity journey as a learner, completing both the Beginner and Intermediate courses.
Now, you’ll often find her behind the camera capturing the Swimsity community or supporting socials and content. Having built confidence in the water herself, Viv brings plenty of encouragement and is known by learners as a “great hype woman”.
